Bought this Craftsman belt sander on an auction site for $15 plus tax and fee. The seller was a local sheriff's office.Can't find much about it because i was trying to see date of manufacturer. Operates "like new" There was a brand new belt(still in the cardboard sleeve). When i put it on the sander the belt seperated at the taped seam. Seemed odd but makes sense after the fact.
Now for the part i think is interesting. In the carrying case was the cardboard tag pictured. It indicates it was recovered as stolen property and had been in a evidence locker since April 2004. Explains belt seperating
