Anybody using either a Dakin Flather or Simonds Red Streak bandsaw blade?

Saw a reference to "Jerry's Resharp" in Kentucky on another site. Did some digging and it looks like his "Ripper 37" is a "Dakin Flather" blade out of England. A little research on Google and saw another reference to "Simonds Red Streak" blades. I've been using the Woodmizer bi-metal blades on my LT-40 with mixed success on hardwoods (walnut, beech, elm). I recently heard good things about their new "747's" but the local Mizer dealer tends to be pricey at around $23-$24 per blade. The others are in the neighborhood of $18-$20 per blade.

Anybody using either the Ripper 37, (Dakin Flather) or Red Streak blades?

You might check with Cooks saw, they sell Simonds blades, among others. 800-473-4804 cookssaw.com They also sell sharpeners, and have a re-sharp business.
