1st Dibs - Selling pieces

Hi all,

Does anyone have any practical experience with selling or buying on 1st Dibs? The prices vary greatly. Is this a site that furniture builders and designers mainly use to showcase their stuff or are the pieces actually selling? I'm curious what the volume of sales are on this site. I'm curious too if the prices are something that we can use to judge our own prices. I'm still working up to the quality standard I see on the site, but I don't think I'm necessarily far off on some of their pieces.

I'll have to call and ask some of these questions, but would prefer the 'non sales' version of experience too.

At first look, I didn't see any craftsman selling. All I found talked about dealers and vintage pieces. But I certainly didn't look at every piece. Edit; Just found the new & custom tab. Never mind.
