    small red oak table

My daughter, who is undergoing chemo, has her chair at an angle in the corner of her living room with a small stupid square table that does not really work, so I made her one that will fit better.

And of course, the double taper on the legs is a "feature". They were originally made to be tapered from the top down, but some dumbass made the mortises for the bottom rails at the top of the legs. (sometimes I wish I could fire him!) Yes - all 4 legs - I, I mean he, was on a roll. LOL So rather than make 4 new legs, a double taper. Actually looks better than I thought it would.

The double taper somehow goes with ,and calls attention to , the triangles formed by the stretchers. And that wild grain
on the rail is radiating our hopes for healing. I've always been a good furniture "reader"! All the best to her and her
    loving family.

Nice work on the table. I'm familiar with the work of that dumbass--he's been in my shop too many times.

I think he's worked for everyone at one time or another. And she's doing well - thx all.

He’s been hiding somewhere in my shop too- hope I find him some day.
