Thread: Osage Bowl

  1. Osage Bowl

Turned for my wife to gift to someone in her family. Got the wood from Dennis Peacock. Thanks Dennis!

Sanded thru 600... one coat of gel poly... buffed...

    8-1/8" wide... 2-3/4" high... 3/8" thick...

Mark, handsome looking bowl! It's hard to see the full shape with the dark background, but it looks very pleasing to my eye. Congrats on an apparently well executed turning!

Man, that's sweet, Mark. They're gonna love it.........that is.........if Renell will let it go. Me? I'd be lookin for another Mark Cothren original to send.

Looks like I'm gonna have to figure out a good Arkie/O-Hi-O wood swap.
I can't find any of that around here.

  11. Joe - I don't have any more Osage, but I have Pecan, Cedar, Black Walnut, Elm, Hackberry and Silver Poplar here at the house. Any of that you want all you gotta do is say so.
