I've done them all and then some.
Shifted four on the floor and three on the tree.
    Sat in an outhouse.
Lived with a party line. Even worked for the phone company and installed a few party line phones before they went out.
Cranked up the Victrola to listen to 78 rpm records.
Slapped the side of a TV to get a better picture.
Watched black & white TV for many years.
Made ice cream with a hand cranked contraption.
    Hand ground coffee beans.
Used reel to reel recorder to record songs on the radio.
Remember when some near by cities finally got dial phones.
Made my own radio with an encased crystal and a "cat whisker."
Kids miss so much fun these days

Wasn't old enough to use but remember the crank phones and when they came through burying cable and installing "direct dial" phones.
    Rabbit ears for TV antenna.
Turning the antenna by hand for a different channel and then we getting a "rotor" and it turning it for us.
Drinking water from a cup at the hand pump.
Having an AM and later AM/FM radio on the tractor when working in the field. (No cab but maybe an umbrella to shade you)

Uh-oh. I did all the original and most of the added ones...after I got married.

How about studying by Coleman lantern, for a work promotion, in a house I paid $6K for. It also had only an outhouse, and no electricity available. Still got it, and still no indoor plumbing.

I have done every one of them in the original post and most of the others, what does that say about me?

I still do #8 when I'm cutting the grass. It still works wonderfully. I have to admit to ordering a set earbuds for it.

Did everything on the list and most of the other stuff folks mentioned. Went to 1st grade in a 4 room 2 story brick schoolhouse.

The guy with the test must not have been old enough to ever have an 8-track.
