Long Flat-head Toxic Worms in your area?

Been on the news the last few days about long (3 ft) flat-head worms showing up in some places in southern Ontario for the first time. Lots of things moving up due to warmer winter temperatures - cold used to keep a lid on some creatures. These worms are toxic to handle and could cause serious injury to small pets as well as eating the good worms (and snails and slugs).
Came from China/Asia when small, likely in plant material.

Are those of you, likely in warmer areas, been dealing with these things for a while?

We're being invaded by asian jumping worms in the northeast. They destroy the forest leaf mulch layer resulting in loss of both many plant and insect species that depend on it. While almost none of the worms you find in North America today are native, these guys are a real disaster.

According to the Miami Herald they're not as bad as they sound. Not good, but not all that bad.
