Did you apply the veneer before bending or after? I would think after the bending to prevent possible damage, but before would seem to be easier.

How did you put flat (?) hardware on a curved surface?
Learn by mistakes - I veneered before bending, and I had bad bleed through the commercial veneer. I tried to sand it out but the veneer was too thin. I ended up hammer veneering ( with hide glue ) another veneer over the first veneer - what a pain! It is recommended that you veneer after you bend.
Glad to see that one again any time. Unless I'm showing one of MY Ping Pong paddles!
