Good work. I like the walnut and ash combo.

Beautiful. How did you do the dovetails?
Looks super nice!
Have one question. In the second photo after sawing, do you use a chisel to pare to the line? Or is it the final cut?
Beautiful work!!!
Very, very nice box with nicely executed workmanship Mark. Good stuff.

Big +1 on beautiful work.

Thanks.
Anuj, I used chisel to pair the line, only for the middle part. Its hard to keep straight line with just a fret saw. Outer lines are straight saw cuts. They are the most sensitive to execute and to make adjustments if at first place you didnt heat the line
Thanks Mark.
Good hand tool work Mark! Your first picture seems to show resawing by hand. Commendable. I have tried but usually tire out after a bit. I imagine some hyperactive 16 year old boys 250 years ago would do the job efficiently with skills honed through repetition.
I get tired also with this type of sawing, especially if you get a little out of the line its not funny and thats what happened in this case, had to plane afterwards alot to flatten the two boards. But at that time I was feeling like a 16 year old hyperactive with no skills . If you go slowely and patiently with this type of sawing u will finish faster.
Yes Mark, hand tool woodworking can be fun!
All I can say is "wow". Great job.
