    I was looking for the traditional method to attach legs to the curved apron and found this image...a bridle joint.

    Thank you Derek, appreciate the visuals. I’m still trying to decide if I want to go with three or four legs. It’s going to be a smallish/plant stand size (about 21” wide at the back). I think proportionately three would be best and I do like the idea of only doing one bridle joint!
