    International PechaKucha Day!

I went to the International PechaKucha Day event in Knoxville tonight (well it was yesterday, since it's after midnight now). I didn't count but it looked like there may have been two or three hundred people there.

There were eight excellent presentations in Knoxville. The fixed format of a PechaKucha event is each presentation consists of exactly 20 images, each displayed for precisely 20 seconds. No hem-hawing, dragging things out - the pace is invigorating! And if you are not interested in a topic, no problem, it will be over in 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

They organize an event in Knoxville every three months.

With the 20pic x 20sec format, this event on 02/20/2020 was special. I think they said there were events planned in 1200 locations across the globe!

(if interested Wikipedia has a PechaKucha page)

Lol. I assumed it had something to do with Llama's or Alpacas's.
