    Hula skirting source

Colleagues: need some hula skirting to putting around my blade guard/overhead dust collection hood.

Look on my usual tool supplier sites, but can not find any. Same with doing a Google search, or maybe I was not using the correct key word(s)??

Does anyone know of a source? Thanks and cheers....

I've used the bristles from a cheap Harbor Freight bench brush

How did you attach the bristles to the duct collection hood?

I used them on wood, so just stapled them. I imagine some sort of epoxy or hot melt glue would work, though...

Look at Saw Stache from FastCap. This may be what you are looking for.

Door bottom sweeps, specifically brush sweeps. Also "conveyor belt sweeps."

Bruce Wrenn: thanks! Just might be the ticket and I think the local hardware stores sells those.

Check McMaster-Carr for a large assortment Ray. I looked last night, but Bruce has the right term--"sweeps". If you've not bought from them, shipping is usually quick. They don't quote the shipping costs before placing the order--which spooked me for a while, but i've always found it to be cheap enough to not be a hindrance. https://www.mcmaster.com/sweeps

Recently research this myself for a router based planning sled. Always think outside the box.

CNC spindle dust collection boots have brush strips you can buy by the inch. Here's an example:

Colleagues: thanks for all the leads. Just need to measure how much I will need. But first need to figure out who to attach it. Do believe that I have a good supply of machine screws in various sizes somewhere in the shop....

We have lots of hula skirt suppliers around here, but I've never heard of them being used on a machine.......
