Kreg track saw system

OK, the Kreg track saw and table have been out for a while now. Since the first flurry of posts, I have not seen anything new, or reports on how it compares to others.

I am still waiting for a factual answer for the burning question (at least in my mind).....does the Kreg track interchange with the Festool and Makita? I have a Makita, and really like that table Kreg has.

Anyone tried to pair a Festool or Makita track to the Kreg table setup? I have never seen one in person.

It seems that the Kreg saw is not compatible with other tracks but the Kreg table can be used with other tracks (and compatible saws for those tracks). So you could use a Makita saw and track with a Kreg table but could not use a Kreg saw on a Makita track.
