Neat. I now want a sliding table for my 19" Griz
Bascially, a very light weight ship saw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMD7aHlOyg8.
I've used my bandsaw to cut open cell foam to make chair cushions. It actually works very well, and doesn't seem to bother the saw or the blade. Prior to trying the bandsaw I used to do it by hand with a bread knife, but using the rip fence on the bandsaw is much more accurate.

Electric knife also works. I've considered using my 18" Rikon, but the idea of it scared the bejesus out of me...kinda like the idea of cutting a big fistful of rags, or cutting a tire on the tablesaw. "Look ma, no hands!"

That horizontal one looks like a pallet destroyer brand used to take wood pallets apart.

I have used tablesaw and bandsaw to cut cardboard. Cuts easy but leaves a fuzzy edge.
