LED Lighting for a display cabinet; touch controller?

I'm in the pencil and paper stage of drafting a plan for a display cabinet about 48" X 42 X 16". I'll make frames for the sides and doors, and fit glass to them. Shelves will be glass as well. This will be an Arts/Craft or Mission style and wood will be cherry or walnut. I thought I'd run some LED tape lighting down the front R/L corners of the cabinet, but I'd like to use a touch controller to turn them on/off. No dimmer, just on/off. My initial thought was to wire one of the hinges as I really didn't want a visible switch. Either that or fit a metal plate to the cabinet somewhere.... I have been surfing the internet and I'm not finding what I think I need.

Anyone else gone down this road have a solution or suggestion?

I built a bar back with both up- and down-lights in a tiered display shelf using LED strip lights and touch control (thread is here on SMC).

^ Link to kits, but lots of how-to info, and options - including WiFi/Bluetooth control if you REALLY don’t want a switch.

Can you post a link to your bar back thread? I'd like to see it.

Thank you and please, borrow away..!! I will offer that I used the iTouch dimmer (x2) on my install; touch on/off or for dimmer you touch-hold to inc/dec the light strip.

You might want to take a look at the Lee Valley micro-switches designed, it sounds, for just the applicaiton you are considering.

Not exactly, but thanks! They have a motion sensor that I think might just be the ticket. They also have a stainless touch controller that looks nice. I had not looked at Lee Valley for an LED light source before. They have some pretty cool stuff.

Not to Alaska (not unusual to be denied), but I ordered a bunch of stuff for this project, and a couple future projects, anyway.....
