Epilog Mini 30w problems!

So I have 2 of these machines and last night one of them, upon startup, slams the lens carriage into the side twice before homing itself, that's a new one. The other machine basically fires perforated pulses while vector cutting. Both have recently been cleaned out as well and this just started last night. Tech support isn't open for awhile, so I figured I'd come here.

When you say "cleaned out", I'm wondering what all is cleaned out?
I had that symptom on my TT . I cleaned the belts (peaks and valleys), the pulleys (peaks and valleys), the encoder ribbon, and THEN found the problem
in the contrast reader, a "big" 'ol hair ball in the slot where the ribbon is read. Maybe our machines are close and utilize this same set-up??
