    Box for a router plane

Made out of Ash....some bright brass accents....just a weekend project..

Router is a rehab, found it hanging on an Antique Mall's wall....as a coat hook. Stain is more of that Gunstock that I use on Ash. Half blind dovetails at the corners, dust seal was milled with a Stanley 45. raised the lid's panel on the tablesaw. The other cutter, 3/8" wide, was made from an Allen wrench..

Two 1/4" plywood runners under the plane, allow the the plane to sit in the case even with the cutter lowered a bit. labels were downloaded from the web....

Not too bad of a project?

Very nice! What a great idea. I' going to have to make one. One question... Did you already have the labels that you put on the box? That is a nice touch, but I don't have the label.
    Thanks for posting.
