private messages

Looking for some help. Whenever I private message a member it does not appear anywhere in my sent messages. I have chose private message then checked inbox but they do not appear. The inconvenience of this is that when sending a pm without being able to view I wonder if the recipient actually received. Thanks, Jack

have you checked the box "save a copy of message in the sent folder"? (at the bottom of the page where you compose the message)

Jack, click on Settings, (upper right) > General Settings > Sent Private Messages > Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
This will save all future sent PM's.
