I got tired of tossing my attempts to saw to the line into the woodstove. I upped the ante a bit by making some soap dishes that are hanging around to remind me of past transgressions.
I think the first one was in a scrap of 2x4 - that ended up in the woodstove, but I found some teak scraps cheap. The last one i did with a 5 point rip saw and then rounded everything on my power sander, but I am more skillful sawing to the line than when I started.
