    Monkeypod Platter

Saw a 14"x14"x 1-3/4" mini slab on Cook Woods website while recovering from surgery and ordered it to spur me on to get back on Powermatic 3520B as soon as possible. 3 months later I had figured out that the slab was not square, and had to be cut down to get to 20" max at diagonal. Had to trim about 3/16" off original cut sides and then trim the broken edge side. Result was this polygon 20" max with 11-1/4" ID bowl that sits 1-3/4"H. Wife liked it and put on table runner.Monkeypod 1.jpgMonkeypod 2.jpgMonkeypod 3.jpg
