    Fisch 3/8" Mortising Chisel Augers being discontinued

    Recently I had trouble finding augers for Fisch 3/8" hollow chisels. The reason why might be that Fisch is discontinuing them. It's too bad, the chisels work well. I don't understand why they would sell hollow chisels, but not replacement augers. I don't make a habit of ruining augers, but I have had trouble with the augers warping after mortising hard wood for days at a time.

    Perhaps a spike in orders would encourage Fisch to keep selling the augers.

    Contact WL Fuller in Warwick RI.
    They make, and sell, Mortising bits and chisels.
    They make any type of drill bit out there ,and custom make them also. It's all they do.

    Thank you, Mike. I hadn't heard of the Fuller Company. Fuller stocks Forest City. It's good to know that Forest City is still in business.
