Rectangular walnut bowl with natural edge

Today I show you the creation of a flat rectangular bowl with natural edge all out of walnut wood.

After the planing I glued the board with hot glue on a cone of the turner's lining. After that I started with the mold-turning of the outer shape. Then I glued the other side and turned the inside. As a finish I have sanded it up to grain 500, then treated it with turner oil.

I like your work, Roger, but this one for me needs to be "curved" a bit more. I appreciate that the board was quite thin, though, so your options were a bit limited.
