    Double entry doors

Completed the double entry doors for my wife's craft studio. 8/4 Mahogany with Tung Oil finish. I had local installer hang them.

Beautiful! Did you do anything special to get the grain to pop like that, or just the tung oil? Very nice job!

Nothing special - just Tung Oil.

Great design and workmanship with some beautiful wood. Love the transom and side lites. Very well done.

The doors and surround are elegant and striking as is the chandelier inside. Mightily nice craft studio. Thanks for sharing.
Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!

Whole treatment is nice. She has a shop and fine retail space.

    Beautiful work Bryan!

  9. Those are lovely indeed. What hardware did you use to keep the usually stationary door in place?

My wife picked these: https://www.build.com/baldwin-br7020...78?uid=2253949. We also used hinges with ball bearings - very smooth.

From the look of things, it could be used as a really nice workshop too! Might be truly unique shop - with a chandelier! And beautiful doors, for inspiration.
