2 1/2 inch swivel end

I bought some longer 2 1/2 inch hose for my shop vac and attached swivel ends purchased from a local shop. The end pops off much too easily, unlike the swivel on the original hose that came with the vac. Any suggestions on either a better swivel end or how to attach the end to the hose? Glue?

I have used tape to help make the hose snug.

Agree with Steve.... I use the 2" wide Gorilla tape .....

I just use a short sheet metal screw. I also use a silver marker to put a line on both pieces, so I can line it up easily if I remove it.........which is almost never.

If you have more than one hose you use it on, you can be carefull to have the holes align on other mating pieces. They remove easily and go back on quickly.
