    Christmas gift for my daughter

    Good evening
last year I produced a black limba dining table for my older daughter, this year I made a walnut based, slightly smaller version for my younger one. The size is 60”x40”x 1-3/4FAE75666-2858-42D3-BE63-A9D529E78F22.jpg1D710B23-7B7D-4243-B011-18D6CCF540F6.jpg7ECCEE99-EB37-4845-9BF1-C22E02C0DA68.jpg1216E94C-6E70-4B0B-9426-68599C74707E.jpg

Very nice looking table! Did you also do the metal fabrication?

Thanks, I contemplated making the legs as well, but end up buying them due to limited time to Christmas

Stunning! I love the sap wood down the middle. Why all the inserts? Are you allowing for seasonal wood movement? Thanks for sharing
Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!

Yes, the holes in the metal legs are elongated to allow for seasonal wood movement. I decided to use the inserts to allow for easier assembly and disassembly. The table is going to my daughter's first house, and I am sure that they will move at some point.
