    Sauna project

I want to build an infrared sauna like those you see at HD. Basically a big cabinet. I could use some advice on building materials. I was thinking of using some veneered plywood for the cabinet. And I'd like to use those cinch brackets you see on really cheap cabinets to hold it together, but I don't know what they are called or where to find them? That way I can dissemble and move it easily.

Minifix cams may be what you’re referring to- Amazon has them under “cam bolts”.

I thing T&G cedar is most commonly used for the interior but I don’t know what’s behind that. Google “sauna materials” and it will come up with lots of info.

What I'm thinking of is more like a latch. You latch two panels together and twist the latch and the panels tighten up.

Hmm- I can’t envision what that might be. A pic or drawing would be helpful if you can find one. (I know, I know, if you could find a pic you would learn what it is called lol)

a casket lock? you use an allen wrench to turn the latch, pulls panels together, used a lot in temporary walls and things.

If you've ever seen cheap kitchen cabinets from China they don't even glue the panels, they just have these latches.
