JessEm Router with remote speed control

Anyone have or use the JessEm PowerTek router they sell with the remote speed controller? It’s a table mount only 3 1/2hp router.
How do you like it? Any problems?

They are very proud of it at $369.99. Everything I’ve seen that JessEm makes is the highest quality at the top of its class. Does the same apply to this router they have made?

I thought I heard there were some issues with the router, but could be wrong on that. Search the forum for more info.

I have one. I haven't used it much yet but I really like it. I mounted my speed control above the table in the back using some 8020 extrusions.

I purchased one last spring. The only issue was that the ship date slipped multiple times.

I have used it a lot, probably five days per week. I love it. Zero operational issues. Mounted in a table with Incra cleansweep box and their magnetic dust rings. Would definitely purchase again.

I called and spoke with JessEm customer service. The PowR-Tek routers are on back order. Expected to arrive end of February 2020.

Similar to when I purchased. The frustrating part was on the morning of the day it was scheduled to be in stock the date slipped. Some suggested to just purchase the big PC router but I'm glad I waited.
