Yeah, I had the pasta machine from a time when I thought I wanted to make my own pasta. That wore off quickly and the machine went into the closet. When I was doing a lot of veneer work and needed stringing of different colors, I had a eureka moment one day when I was in the closet with the pasta machine.
It works well but you need veneer with very straight grain for the best results.
