    16" jointer newman #60

    Big thanks to Jeff Bartley and his dad for staying after he delivered it to get in place and off the shipping skids.

    Looks like outfeed table tilts for spring joint, opposed to most that style, moving the entire wedge.

    Good looking machine.

    Newman stuff is rare and heavily built. Looks to be in good shape. Are fence and guard intact? Yes, spring joint on outfeed isn't ideal but generally they get locked down and never used. Dave

    Nice idea for where to store your track saw track, too - I'm going to have to replicate that.

    Its complete. There are some pics on here of this specific jointer as it was Bill Simmeth machine at one time

    Newman makes some great machinery. I have their 24" planer. It's built like a tank.
