    Craftsman 10 in bandsaw

    I have the craftsman 10 inch benchtop bandsaw..which is just a copy of the rikon...I'm having a hard time changing blades...I called carter to see if there was a upgrade kit for it and needless to say..they dont have one...can anyone refer me to where I can get something to upgrade it...its a bear to change blades..thank you

    I don't understand why there is a problem. I have two of them, and they're the easiest bandsaws I've ever dealt with for blade changing. Did you back off the tension? Is the tension handle/knob in the top of the machine. That knob just sits there, and is easily taken out, so the machine can be easily moved without breaking the knob.
