I see no pop-ups.

I also see no pop ups.
no pop ups here
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pop up on the creek. Is this pop up limited to the creek or are you seeing it elsewhere? I ask because I have seen a page that sort of hijacks many pages to inform me that I have won something. The only way to get rid of that is clearing all the cookies.
Seems to me I have seen a popup when first logging in informing me when I have a new private message. Other than that, have never seen one on the creek.
I got them earlier today, but not know. I will reboot and see if they show up.
I rebooted and they did not show up.
How do you perform such a comprehensive scan?
In your browser, in settings, find "tools", and under tools, find "exceptions". A list will come up, and there will probably be a strange looking one with a web address. You can remove it directly from there. I just do away with all exceptions.
Depends on what operating system and anti-malware tools you use. If you are on Windows 10, there is pretty sound anti-malware built in under your "Windows Security" on your menu. If you have older Windows, you probably have something like McAffee installed, and there is a way through that software to do so.
Do you have a computer guru you can ask?
I see no pop-ups.

Threatening to become a non-contributor before you have any idea what’s going on is a little rash don’t you you think?
Agreed. I’m guessing web browsing habits need to be adjusted at the least. My Dad has similar problems, I found out he was falling for the “click bate” at the bottom of some webpages. And, more importantly, you might need to have a deep scan of your computer done to figure out what virus/malware/Trojan you may have, even if you can’t see it anymore. You seem to be constant having issues via computer or phone, and I’d bet your personal information has been compromised.
No popups here either. You just need to find a computer savvy person to help you or buy a Mac.
