As long as we're on the subject......

Is anyone aware of a plow or grooving plane with an extra narrow skate? I had to plow some weatherstrip grooves this week that should have been 3/32" (.094). The skate on my Veritas Small Plow was .100". I ground a spare 1/8 blade down to .102" to give the skate a little room to move in the groove and it worked out OK. A little wax on the skate helped. I'd love to be able to plow a 1/16" groove without the skate binding. I suppose I could always try my router plane with a fence and a 1/16" cutter but a small plow promises better results.

    Thoughts?
Sharp solves all manner of problems.

I made a plough for a 1/16 groove about forty years ago, based on this engraving from Roubo. It does not need to be this fancy.
