Why can't I see pictures?

I used to follow this forum many years ago. Trying to connect again (username and password still work), I started browsing threads. Now I can't see pictures linked, even if I'm logged in. What gives?

I still get a happy birthday message every year, but somehow I don't feel very welcome...
