    Porter cable 890 router

    I can’t find a Porter Cable 890 fixed base router. Will the 892 fit in a 890 plunge base? Anyone sell a 890? Thanks for help.

    I'm fairly sure it will. I bought an 890 kit some years ago and I think that's the 892 motor with a fixed and plunge base.

    What Mike said. The different 89X numbers are just what's included in the box AFAIK, like plunge base, D handle base etc.
