    Entry hall table for a niece

    I have begun this build, posting so far on the Power forum - as the tools used are power and not hands. I might keep it there and link to it here (I am not permitted to post it to both forums).

    Derek,

    I assume the steel sq. tubing is to help prevent stupid wood tricks when you walk away for a bit.

    Exactly, Ken. All wood moves a little. I have found that restricting movement with cauls and clamps reduces movement as much as possible. Over a week, the wood moves and then relaxes. Better than it relaxes in the shape I want.
