    Price to turn stair spindles

I have a request to turn three (3) 32” spindle. Coming from a middle man. Is $30.00 each unreasonable? Have a broken one to duplicate. Just moved from a Colorado and didn’t keep my duplicator attachment for the wood lathe. Just had to limit what we could afford to move. Made lots of mistakes on what to keep and what to dispose of. Too much stress and pressured for time to think it out.

any help would be appreciated, may lead to more work but don’t want to be way high or give my time away. Charles

$30 means about 1/2 hour of labor. No idea how fast of a turner you are.

Thanks! I know one place they charge like $100.00 per spindle. It’s easy to not charge enough and really end up doing it for practically nothing. Charles

Hi Charles, for 3 I would charge $50 each.

I wouldn't give a discount for quantity unless they wanted enough to do a railing.............Regards, Rod.

    Thanks,
I think that’ll be a reasonable price for the time it s taking. It’s for people who fix up houses to flip, flippers!

charles. Good advice is really appreciated- Rod and a Richard!
