    Makita Track Saw System Issue?

The base of my Makita track saw is showing wear from the grooves in the anti-friction strips. Has anyone else had this happen? Something to worry about?

    Thanks

I have put a lot of miles on mine and have not noticed this issue.

Thanks - looked at this again last night and narrowed it down to the ribbed anti-friction strip. Some of the ribs that should be rounded are sharp.

Just as a followup - I have found I am not the only one with this issue. I took an MDF cutoff and pushed it back/forth with light pressure along the rail and definitely get cuts from the ribbed glide strip. I looked at my rail and decided to flip the glide strip over so the smooth face pointed up. Was worried the ribs may not stick well but seems to be holding fine.
