My Lie Nielsen router plane iron is missing

And I received a Woodcraft catalog. I called them and they have router plane irons.

Going to their store is like a kid in a toy store. I will be going to get one.

Watch out. Those stores are too much fun.

I am thinking that you will have to go to LN for a replacement. I know Lee Valley's don't work. Woodcraft brand would be second rate IMO. Why did you not think od LN from the get-go?

You might want to take your router plane with you to make sure the ones they stock will fit.

I found a Lie-Nielsen replacement blade online at Highland Woodworking in Atlanta Ga.
    It cost me $35.

I visited their store one time. If you are ever in that part of the US, it's worth a visit.
Google them online. I almost think it's a trip I would like to do again.

Now you know you will find the old blade the day the replacement arrives!

My daughter and son-in-law moved to Florida earlier this year. We plan on visiting them this winter, and I plan on visiting Highland on our way there.

I just checked online and the blade is on the way. They sent me a notice at 4:31PM today.

It came in today's mail, it fits, and the router plane works again.

    Three Cheers for Highland Woodworking.
