    Where is the best (cheapest) place to buy byrd cutterheads ?

    Want to purchase one for a Delta DC 380.

    They did at one time but it had to be manually applied. My last several purchases from them haven't been large enough for me to ask. Sort of like dealing with Lee Valley, I don't mind an extra couple dollars to patronize a company with good service and quality products.

    Holbren does offer a discount to creekers but not on their Bryd Shelix heads.

    They did a few years back when I bought one for a Powermatic 6" jointer. It's still in the shipping box.

    Gilbert, when I purchased a head for my DeWalt about a year ago, I was told by Holbren that because they had already discounted the price of the head, they could not discount the price any further.

    Just checked both on my DW735 and Holbren was a good $100 cheaper.
    It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
