    Robust Tool Rests

Selling my 6" and 9" Robust tool rests. Both of these are the "Comfort rest, long post" that I used with my Powermatic 3520B. They have a 1" diameter post that is approximately 5" long.

    From the manufacturer:
If you have a 18-25” lathe such as the Robust American Beauty, Powermatic 3520 or 4224, Jet 1840, Oneway 24”, Vicmarc VL 300 from Craft Supplies USA, General 20”, Rikon 20”, Woodfast 20”.

The 9" rest has a small ding in the top rod as seen in the last photo. I haven't tried to file it out because it never affected my use.

    9" new is $59, asking $40 plus shipping (3 lbs from 80226)
    6" new is $53, asking $35 plus shipping (2 lbs from 80226)

DANG! I just bought new 6" and 12" ones a day before you posted! Next time post your stuff quicker!! I'd love the 9" one but I'm on a limited income and don't have the funds now that I bought the others (not to mention my budget is really shot as I just scored the PM 3520 for a great deal). Maybe in a couple weeks or so if it's still available and I can find the funds.

Hey, a new lathe deserves a 9" Robust rest, one of my favorites for general use. (I keep the 4", 6", 9", and 14" at each lathe.) Maybe you could rent out a nephew or sell some furniture - move everything around and maybe your wife won't notice!

Turns out shipping isn't very much so I'll cover shipping costs. Free shipping.

And Ricc you got a good deal. I just helped someone sell a 3520B for $2500 also. It was 9 yrs old but the gentleman hadn't turned on it the last 5 years.
