Do you mean the shape of the drawer face or are you talking about the shape of the drawer box?
That would be a personal choice thing. You could make as little or as much radius on the corners as you desire.
Not looking to build cabinets myself so looking at custom cabinets and yes the drawer face.
I like inset,that makes the corners "sheathed". Most drawer "treatments " are ways to avoid the work of inset. You could
use something like a stepped bevel similar to profile of raised panels .But that does not work well on the shorter flatware
drawers.
