What kind of plane is this?

Can anyone tell me what kind of plane this is (the one on the far right)? I saw it on Craigslist. The plane body reminds me of a scrub plane that I have, but the iron arrangement reminds me of something from a spokeshave. Never saw anything like it on a plane, though.

Is this just something somebody cobbled together from stray parts?

Harbor Freight Windsor Style No. 33. Stanley also had one ( plastic handled, though) called an SB4....

The No. 33 is a lot better than the SB4. Thicker iron, that can be reground into a 3" radius...and used as a #3 sized scrub plane.....

My son in law buys from Harbor Freight. He is satisfied with them. I prefer Lowes or Home Depot.

I would probably buy a name band on line.

My planes are antique Stanley Bedrocks with Hock irons and breakers.

It's an old design, simpler to make than an adjustable "frog" as in traditional Stanley cast iron planes.

It is no longer associated with desirable tools.

I bought one of those Windsor 33 planes from Harbor Freight a number of years back.
I take it on any job I'm working on away from my shop. It's like a cross between a block plane and a Stanley no. 3.

I plane plywood and MDF with it, I don't mind if I hit a nail, the blade is simple to adjust and keeps the same position if I remove the blade to hone it and than re-install it. For $10 I'm more than happy with it.

Received one as a gift, believe it came from Rockler. Marked #33, Made in India. I used it yesterday for some stuff I didn't want to use my Stanleys on. Believe it or not, after I played with it and got it sharp, it does a pretty good job; Obviously, it has found a purpose in life or it would have gone out with the trash.
