    Ding Dong the Bench is Done

    Finished my bench yesterday:

    27 x 99. Top is 4 layers of MDO (3" total). Wood is red oak. Legs and stretchers are 4" x 4". Outer vise jaws lined with 1/8" rubberized cork.

    I have to rearrange the shop a bit to put it in a good spot, but then it will be time to put it to work!

    Really like the look of it. Very clean lines.
    Curious though, how the dog holes will hold up in the MDO.
    It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
