First attempt at a refined project

    First post here

Have mostly worked on home projects and outdoor cedar furniture. I wanted to try and make something more refined so I came up with this. Walnut top/shelf with hard maple legs and ribbon maple for the apron. Should have picked a square table with a conventional apron/leg combo as working out the angles and joints was a challenge for me. But we only get better as we learn.

Nice table....I like the look and the wood combo. Now a square table will be a piece of cake for you to make after doing this one!

Very nice first project. Clean lines, nice fit and finish and beautiful wood. Well done. I love the little "flame" at the bottom of the back leg.
