I am currently building up wood turning inventory for a craft show coming in a few months. Most pieces were finished with WDO and are well dry. I plan to run all the pieces through the 3-steap Beall system (except the walnut, I'll skip the white diamond on those).

To avoid a mad rush the week before the craft show, I'd prefer to do my buffing -including the carnuba wax step - now, then put the pieces in storage containers until time to set out in my booth.

Is this feasible, or do I need to wait until just-before-display to do the carnuba wax step??

I don't do the shows but I buff some of my stuff as you describe and the carnuba wax holds its shine as long as the project is just sitting there.

Carnuba is "hard" and should be just fine if you pack things appropriately.
