    I know what you mean. The majority of my clothes have stain or paint or automotive chemicals on them.

    The hilarious thing is the stain mostly came out when my wife washed it. I had the soap rubbed into it and all the other ideas as well her spray and wash. Thanks all.

    Long ago I was introduced to Oil Eater. It was sold at Costco and could get ball point pen and sharpie marker out of shirts. I think you can buy it online, in fact I think I am going to order some now.

    Maybe rubbing some crushed, 'clean' kitty litter would work it is an oil-based contaminant.
    Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!
