Inspiring interview with Scott Landis of Greenwood Global

The latest special edition podcast episode from Fine Woodworking is an interview with Scott Landis about his work with Greenwood Global (.org). Some of you will remember that Scott wrote one of the early books all about workbenches, but for the last 25 or so years he has been working to help prevent deforestation and clear cutting in developing nations. I found it fascinating and inspiring. I confess I was motivated to order the Greenwood Global Mallet set from Lee Valley. Don't have them yet, but will report when they arrive. They look very nice and I like that Lee Valley is supporting this worthy cause. LV designed the mallets.

I received the set of mallets ordered from Lee Valley; I'm quite happy with them. They are well made and nicely finished, and feel good in the hand.

The large mallet is Cumbillo, the other two are Rosita.
