    BLO removal

Long story short, I put dilute BLO (2 thinner-1 BLO) over water based dye. On my sample, it lightened it up, but my project, no. Need to get the BLO off so I can lighten the dye.
Read online that I could use white vinegar to remove it. Anybody try this?

Since the oil penetrates the wood, complete removal is going to likely require a lot of sanding and then re-application of your dye. And if you don't get sanded below the oil penetration, it's going to affect the dye absorption. I've never heard of using white vinegar for this but that doesn't mean it's a valid method.
