    Hmmmm. OP has never bought a single product from either company. None the less he proclaims with near certainty:
    I expect the Blue Spruce tools to go up in price and lower on quality.


    Now just how wood he know that never having bought a single product from either company?

    I heard a rumour that Paul Sellers is on the Board of Directors of Woodpeckers.....

    You're right, full disclosure when I made the post. I however see Woodpeckers bombard all the Instagram makers every time a new "revolutionary" product is released. I did want to support Blue Spruce tools. I couldn't just buy them because of the price point, and now at least in the marking knife's case they've gone up in price since the acquisition.
