    Longest yard sale?

Due to things beyond my control, was unable to go along the 127 trail....looking for rusty things...

Did anyone here go? If so, what did ya find? Sale ran from Michigan down to Alabama.....aught to have been some goodies along the way?

From my 2008 Post: ...It's really something to be experienced. It's a huge cross section of humanity, a near carnival atmosphere, some freak show thrown in for additional interest, and some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer. Well, there's all the tools too...

For those that would attend the rust hunt to end all rust hunts, some suggestions:

    - Do some advance planning. You will potentially cover hundreds of miles.
    - Pace yourself. You can't hit every spot. There are just too many.
    - Bring cash. Apple Pay doesn't cut it.

After a while you'll get so you can tell the honey holes from the crap collections. I had decent luck in the spots where 30-40 sellers set up in a hay field or parking lot. The competition is good for prices.

For those that missed the Yard Sale...

I'm trying to save up for a Tractor Fest, down in West Liberty, OH's Lions Park.....held every Labor Day Weekend.....
Free Admission, free parking...LOT of walking around....Besides all the tractors and steam engines..

Just a heads up....Lion's Park...take Rt 68 to the Gas station, turn east on St Rt 245....will be on the edge of town....IF you see the Piatt Castles, you have gone too far....
